Me We Paris’s Sheer Dress caught fire after it was showcased at Accra Fashion Week, the dress that seemed to emulate the style of a swimsuit in a wrap but elegantly designed for evening occasions, with details to the bottom of the Sheer dress, happened to be the apple of the eye to a lot of media that captured her show.

However, the style caught fire in the latter part of 2017, just that this time it wasn’t by Me We Paris. A similar dress with the same style was slight altered from an A line dress/skirt structure to a maxi skirt made a few rounds on ig worn by Nigerian musician Emma Nyra, and this time executed by Nigerian brand Ofuure.

However, Ghanaian style personality really had the dress trending when she wore a print floral edition by Ghana’s She Senah Collections.

The exciting part is, although its trending, the origins of the look dates back to late 2015, 2016. It was first outdoored by Ofuure at Africa Fashion Week Toronto in late 2015….
