Grace Bol whose family relocated to the United States when she was a child started her modelling career at the age of 19, when she was scouted in her local mall in Kansas City, Missouri. The statuesque five-foot-ten model who is from the ethnic Dinka is the niece of NBA`s  celebrated 7-foot-7 body Manute-Bol.

Grace quickly garnered attention when she moved to New York after being deemed “too high fashion” by her Kansas City peers and has never looked back. The super model has an astonishing resemblance to her fellow senior South Sudanese and Dinka supermodel alek-wek and once told a fashion reporter about how people continuously mistaken her for Alek.

She believes that “modeling is a voice for my people. It is a way to tell the world of the struggle of my country and a way for me to make money to improve South Sudan. They are my family.”

In 2012 she modeled the fall ad campaign for Edun, she appeared in an ad campaign for Nars cosmetics, she appeared in editorials for CR Fashion Book, Vogue Germany, Elle Netherlands, Flaunt, Surface Magazine, Zoo Magazine, Tush, Contributor Magazine, Velvet Magazine and City Magazine and walked for Maiyet, Rick Owens, Issey Miyake, Lanvin, Jeremy Scott, Edun, Givenchy and Thom Browne.

In 2013 she walked for Vivienne Westwood, Rachel Roy, Ralph Rucci, John Galliano, Kenzo, Fendi, Lanvin, Ermanno Scervino, Philipp Plein, Paul Smith, Tom Ford, Opening Ceremony and Giorgio Armani, she was on the cover of i-D Magazine, she appeared in editorials for The New York Times Style Magazine, i-D Magazine, W Magazine, Elle and Gravure Magazine and she was in ad campaigns for Nars cosmetics and Sephora.

In 2014 she appeared in editorials for Playing Fashion, Madame Figaro, Interview Germany, Archetype Magazine, The Hunger Magazine, Vogue Germany, Luck Magazine, Double Magazine, Marie Claire and i-D Magazine, she was in the covers of The Hunger Magazine and Archetype Magazine and walked for Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood, Rick Owens, Zac Posen, Opening Ceremony, Kenzo, John Galliano, Haider Ackermann, Pringle of Scotland, Jeremy Scott, Target and others.
