The 2m Design Show allows Senegalese and African designers to sell their products and network with other international participants. The show saw its 3rd edition on Saturday 11th March, and it’s brought to you by Mounir Moda, whose real name is Moussa Ndiaye. One of the leading featured designers goes by the name Minaladi from Nigeria. With that said there is no doubt why the brand was a big hit in Senegal, a northwestern African country that is heavily rooted in the essence of African culture. Minaladi’s showcase was a hit, just as it was on Accra Fashion Week.
