Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, is a Ghanaian high-life and afrobeats singer-songwriter. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment, MadeInENY, EMPIRE and is best known for his hit single ‘Ɔdɔ’. The remix features Nigerian superstars Mayorkun and Davido and has received massive airplay across Africa.
From ‘Say Cheese’ to his latest release, KiDi has seemingly become more forward or aggressive in his music. Yesterday, the Ghanaian singer-songwriter released the colourful visual for ‘Touch It’, the latest single. In the video, women are dancing and having a good time. If you’re in the mood to get intimate with the person you love, here’s one to consider. The video has already surpassed 1 million views on youtube. See it below and the designer further down.
However, despite the rare groove vibe infused in the song, with rhythms belonging to the dancehall family, the fashion spoke a different language. From KiDi’s outfit to his nurses to the stage set, easily spoke to that of high fashion, and this was definitely true within each component.
KiDi and his video vixens were laced in glossy outfits courtesy of Ghanaian fashion brand Lakopué. A brand that has built its unique outlook with hints of androgynous and queer fashion. The fashion brand burst into the fashion arena with a new and refreshing outlook on affordable fashion without compromising on luxury.
Lakopué was also behind the stunning royalty looks used to drape Sarkodie and Becca in her single track ‘NANA’ as seen below.
Lakopué has worked with Ghanaian brands such as Woodin, GTP, TV3, and much more, and has also clothed many more celebrities. Definitely, a brand to keep eyes on. See more style from Lakopué.
