Runners up and fashion model Naa Mordor to represent Ghana at the Miss Universe international pageant as the title holder Miss Universe Ghana. Naa Mordor was the 2nd runners up at the previous Miss Universe Ghana pageant which took place last year 2020.
Miss Universe is set to take place in Israel this December and Naa Mordor will be presenting herself as Ghana’s queen instead of Chelsea Tayui, the Ghanaian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Ghana in 2020 and represented Ghana at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
Unfortunately, the Miss Universe Ghana organization was unable to discover a queen for the 2021 pageant ontime due to constraints of their current scheduled event set to take place. As of yet, the organization has only recently introduced its contestants to the public.
The 1st runners up Tekor Akueteh, who is also a fashion model just as Naa Morkor bowed out as she wasn’t able to participate in the international competition, leaving the title to Naa Morkor.
Besides being a Business Administration undergraduate who hails from Prampram in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, Naa Morkor Commodore on the other hand has also had a very active modeling career in the past year, working for various designers and runway show, which is very evident in her portfolio.
Naa Morkor Commodore believes that the Miss Universe Ghana platform will magnify her dreams to impact lives and give voice to her aspirations.
According to Menaye Donkor Muntari, Director of Miss Universe Ghana, the 2021 national event, which was launched recently in Accra will continue as scheduled, but whoever wins will represent Ghana at the Miss Universe international pageant next year (2022).
