In 2012, EThekwini Municipality – management and council approved the launch of the Durban Fashion Fair which is part of the fashion development program that aims at capacitating the local designers, empower young designers, encourage the culture of entrepreneurship, and facilitate access to market and networking opportunities. Today Durban Fashion Fair enters it’s 4th year and opens up with a beautiful launch event with a pool fashion show by Dax Martin, Duke, House Of St Luke, Katherin Kidger, Sibu Msimang and Zarth.
