One thing you have to love about the Benin singer Angelique Kidjo, is that she rose to international success without uttering one English word in her music, not because she couldn’t speak it, but because she was so in love with her Benin roots she didn’t find a reason to.
It seems this may be the same attitude she adopts as far as her fashion style is concerned. Last year and this year’s Grammy Awards has seen the international singer accept both awards in her traditional Kaba and Slit dress.
