Amongst a list of 7 finalists that were filtered from 52 contestants, Yasmine joined two other contestants, Juliet and Cherise when the top three were called, and shortly after was announced the winner. The final decision was made from a fusion of corroboration between two designers, Clavon Leonard, Franca of FNEtia accessory, and Face of AFWk coordinator, Titus. Yasmine marks the 5th winner of the Face Of AFWk who took over her predecessor, Winnifred Esinam, and will soon be groomed as a model ahead of her public appearances on photoshoots and runway. According to the organizers, they were torn between the final three but believed that Yasmine has a lot to show and is more than capable to go international. Face of Accra Fashion Week is currently Ghana’s most prestigious model competition, creating a major platform for new faces. Organizers of Accra Fashion Week will not be holding the event twice a year in 2021 as they look forward to leveraging the event into a much bigger and successful edition to be held in December.
