Not long ago Victor And Rolf were highly glorified for making outfits with print styles commonly used in Africa. From where I sit, I wasn’t really bothered about the notion of international designers creating an African feel with their ideas as compared to others. I was more concerned how the media treated it like a fashion revolution when it had existed for years in Africa. I would assume that is probably how Caribbeans might see this.
