This year 12 girls will battle it out for the Miss West Africa crown in Banjul Gambia, courtesy of Biddys Production. The international pageant that took the world by storm being the first queen of queens African competition was on pause for some odd 3 years and recently made a ground breaking announcement of it’s return in the 2019.

The event is set to take place on 4th January with Ghana, Nigeria, Guinea, Senegal, Mali, Liberia, Cape Verde, Sierra Leone and more set to battle for the crown. The winner will be the successor of Miss West Africa Intentional V, Florence Epee whom will participate in a follow up crowning after the show.
The event was brought back to life after the four year pause by Gambian entertainment icon Ida Mansory, founder of Biddy’s Production and veteran in the world of pageantry.
The pageants has primarily focused on tourism for Africa but organizer state that on it’s return and with the developments of Africa, it will be leaning more towards female leadership in the near future.
