This year FashionGHANA.com, the official website for Ghanaian fashion and most viewed African fashion website, all achieved in less than a year, was more than excited to be invited to London Fashion Week S/S 2014. Our invitation was extended by the Fashion Council, and supported by Virgin Atlantic. During this period we had the opportunity to attend a handful of shows.
Unfortunately, the weather and city of London was too depressing for me I did not take full advantage of this great opportunity to visit as many shows, I was hardly motivated to step outside and all I could do was thirst on my desire of going back to Ghana with long prayers of not missing my flight.
Nevertheless, it was in our plan to ensure we bring back to our audience African fashion in London. Luckily for us, Fashions Finest had arranged an African segment in their Off Schedule Shows that made this objective so simple.
Fashions Finest is an online fashion magazine/Event company with a broad coverage of fashion but creating a more fair ground for exposure for all ethnicity. It is managed Deborah St. Louis (Jamaican/Dominican) and Sola Oyebade (Nigerian), and it currently holds the Second biggest Off Schedule London Fashion Week Section.
So enough about our trip. Below you can see 5 videos of the 6 shows that were executed at the African section of Fashions Finest London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014. The videos display designs by Sascha, Debby African Stitches, Baah by Jessica, Zarita Kouture and Creative Enterprise. Enjoy and share.

Good to see diversity on London runway, Paris designers is very horrible for all ethnic girls.
Zarita Couture and debbie Stiches were the best. Saschas clothes were also very good. I love the presenter, why arent there any ghanaian? 🙁
