It is no mystry that colours play a major factor in revealing our identity, but colors in fashion do not only tell our story and mood to our spectators, but it also helps shape our mood for the day.
Research shows that colors can greatly affect our moods and the way other people respond to us. Amazingly, colors can even change our heart rate, blood pressure and respiration, as researchers Keith Jacobs and Frank Hustmyer discovered in 1974.
It is also proven that clothes even influence our cognitive abilities. In 2012, researchers from Northwestern University in the US found that wearing specific articles of clothing had an effect on the wearer’s psychology and performance. So fashion colours shouldn’t be taken likely.
For example, there is ‘opium of bliss’ and happiness when one spends a day in the color yellow as we covered before.
There is no doubt the color black affects the mind and body by helping to create an inconspicuous feeling, boosting confidence in appearance, increasing the sense of potential and possibility, or producing feelings of emptiness, gloom, or sadness. In western countries black is the color of mourning, death, and sadness.
So let’s get to the bottom of this article, and that’s the effect of white. There is no doubt the ambience of white is something that can change your whole atmosphere. But let’s be clear, we are not referring to the simple bodycon white dress that is soo commonly found in many wardrobes. But a well designs and styles look composed of layers, flounces, accessories and more.
Despite the fact that white is easily and obviously stained, it also has it’s own opium effect. And that is the effect of peace and a much disregard for all worrying thoughts. A difference between the blissful effect of yellow, in this case a mellow peaceful experience and more a hollow stream of airy good vibes.
