Nigeria Model Stories
When it comes to the global sphere of fashion and modelling, Africa is fairly in it’s own space which at times leaves us detached from the wider world of who is who, if the who is not a celebrity.
Arise Fashion Week has pulled an amazing fashion week in Africa, possibly one of the best to date if standards, celebrities, organisation and designs is concerned. Some will argue it was the best ever to date in Africa, others will argue, take away Naomi Campbell and it was just another show.
Despite the debate, Naomi’s brand was definitely the highlight of the event which saw less than one month core promotion. Simply a picture of Naomi let the fashion enthusiasts of Nigeria know what time it is.
Nevertheless, her aura definitely dominated headlines so much so that Africa as a whole might have overlooked the presence of other international models that made it to the Arise Fashion Week runway. A little disappointed we are not seeing Mayowa Nicholas on any of these runways, we hope she’s not too big for Nigeria. Anyways with no further adieu we bring you other international models, both from Nigeria and outside Nigeria that hit the Arise runway to….
