Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 887 Ghana’s screen queen, Jackie Appiah, would be making an official entry into the fashion world and is launching her clothing line in November. She will be staging an opening of her shop in Accra, Dzorwulu, near the UBA Bank. Not far from Afre Anko’s shop. “I will be launching a clothing shop soon in Dzorwulu, Accra. That will be in November. My fans should stay put for that,’’ Jackie revealed during an exclusive interview with the Showbiz on Monday. “My fans inspired me to enter into the clothing business. I see it as souvenirs for them. The love I get from them for my charity works makes me want to give them something back. They keep asking me where they can have my things to buy from in order to feel close to me,” she said. Other stars such as John Dumelo (J.Melo), Sarkodie, Guru, Prince David Osei and Yvonne Nelson (YN Closet) and many more have either set up clothing shops or established their own clothing line. Jackie who also plans to enter the real estate market, explains to Showbiz that she conceptualizes the designs and sends them to Italy where her designs are made into “top notch” clothes for the market. “I’ve always had the desire to enter into the clothing business but I wanted everything to be top notch. That’s why it took me a long time to come out,” she said to emphasise the quality of her clothing. Jackie is set to return to our screens very soon “I have been filming in Nigeria and Ghana. I have done two movies, True Lies and Stalemate, for Venus Films here in Ghana. Currently, I am on set for others in Nigeria, and very soon, they would all be out.” The award-winning actress, became popular via the TV series, Things We Do for Love, in the late 1990s, has starred in countless movies, which include Princess Tyra, The Return of Beyonce, Pretty Queen, Perfect Picture among others. The actress is very adamant about the quality of her clothing like and had this to say “the future is in God’s hands. Perhaps, I might say something but when the time comes, it might be bigger or lesser than I predicted. So, let’s leave everything in the hands of God. Meanwhile, my fans should expect my movies and clothing line out there very soon,’’ she added Remember to Shop Your Print Look from Our Online Boutique New Add to cart Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist African Print Mini Wrap Dress With Puff Sleeves $140.00 New Add to cart Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist Fohrella Below Knee Sleevless Negus Top $140.00 New Add to cart Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist Jeans & African Print Romper $110.00 New Select options Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist Fohrella Sleeveless Negus Top + Press Fastening Leg Pant $70.00 – $180.00 New Add to cart Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist African Print Short Sleeve Top With Extra Wide Leg Pants $160.00 New Add to cart Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist African Print Layered Flare Sleeves Crop Top With Layered Maxi Skirt $250.00 New Add to cart Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist Two-Tone Pleated Top Dress With Layered African Print Skirt $140.00 New Select options Quick ViewAdd to Wishlist African Print Crop Top With Basket Weave Sleeves + Ruched Skirt $70.00 – $150.00 Read More On Ghana Celebrities accraactressclothing linedesignerdzorwulufashionfashionistaghanaian celebritiesjackie appiahmovieshopuba bank Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail Nana Tamakloe Founder of FashionGHANA.com and Accra Fashion Week.
