It was a magical moment at Accra Fashion Week, with a host of events from art and photography galleries, to seminars, to a host of runway shows and more.
The runway shows featured designers from across the African continent and beyond with established brands and brands that were just ready to break into the mainstream.
one new fashion brand which goes by the name of The Nation Association made its debut at the 2022 edition of Accra Fashion Week earlier this month.
Despite the brand being new to the world of fashion, its creator isn’t. The Nation Association is founded by Ahmad Moharam Edriss, a Ghana-based Lebanese designer who has been the creative mind behind Ahmad Edriss, a couture-end high fashion label responsible for clothing Lebanese most renowned celebrities.
Endeavoring into casual wear was a new step for Ahmed, but he courageously took the step believing there was no better platform to launch the outfits other than Accra Fashion Week.
Personally invited to his debut was the Lebanese Ambassador to Ghana, Maher Kheir. Maher Kheir has played an extremely pivotal role in establishing joint collaborations between the Ghanaian and Lebanese Legislatures to deepen the democratic relations between Lebanon and Ghana.
His relentless consistent efforts have definitely altered and strengthened the relationships between the two countries.
Extremely proud of Ahmed’s ‘The Nation Association’s collection, Maher didn’t hesitate to join him during his finale, making a strong statement of support for the new brand. See the images below.
