Given the current waves of passion killings, rapes and baby dumping in the country, the Amushe Modeling Agency (AMA) along with Essence Promotion has deem it feet to organise a fashion show to highlight all this negative things happening in our society. The theme of the Fashion Show is, ‘Say no to passion killing, rape & baby dumping’. According to the event’s organiser and owner of AMA, Michael Amushelelo, the show is a way of raising awareness, uniting and standing up against passion killings. “Families now live in fear of their daughters being raped and killed. The aim of the fashion show is to raise awareness against these issues,” adds Amushelelo. “Enough is enough, we can no longer see and hear our sister being killed and raped. At the same time we say enough is enough to baby dumping. Why go through all the nine months just to kill an innocent life,” he emphasizes. The audience for show on June 1will be entertained by various local artists such as, Dice, Bertholdt, Heavy G, Kanibal, Kavax, Satlam and Tosh Tosh. The Monaco Lounge will host the show from 13h00 until late. Tickets are available for N$50 in advance, N$60 at the doors and N$100 for VIPs.
