The 2nd edition of Africa’s Biggest Student Fashion Week which now has Winasbet as the official sponsor was held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the University of Lagos, Nigeria on the 5th and 6th of June. According to Ademodi Marcus the Business Manager of BlacknBold Fashion House and one of the organizers of the fashion week, they had over 2000 guests, more than 40 emerging designers, and over 20 exhibitors. While the 2nd day had Ovems Fashion, Tunde Couture, S-Plus clothing, Koffykombs Klothings, Michael Charles Couture, Hembadoon clothing, Linda Midu, Lah’delle, Belle Array, Sway Switches, GLAMstitches, Couture Royale, Harriet Kollection, Naija’s Very Own, Shoge Fashion, Jreason and more. Orimolade Abiola CEO of BlacknBold Fashion House said the organizers chose Vovwe Omoko, a student designer from OSC College of Fashion as the Most creative designer of the fashion week because of the quality of her outfits, uniqueness of her designs, and creativity, and this was announced by Ronke Ademiluyi, founder of Africa Fashion Week London and Africa Fashion Week Nigeria. Vovwe Omoko will be showcasing for FREE at the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria. DJ Switch (Winner of Glo X Factor, Emeka (Beautiful day crooner), were some of the artists that wowed the crowd. Winasbet NSFDW is an initiative of award-winning BlackNBold Fashion House, in partnership with Africa Fashion Week London and Mahogany International.
