Durban has been SA’s creative hub, with most of SA’s designers, fashionistas, musicians and models having either come from our “HAUTE” city or studied their craft in Durban.

After the success of the 2011 Edition of Fashion by the Sea, the organisers saw it fitting that they host this event annually, as it marks the official countdown to the Vodacom July and the LIFESTYLE OASIS, the Durban July’s Premium lifestyle and fashion node.

The event is a unique and perfect vehicle to promote the city as an event and tourism destination by using one of its significant landmarks – the Golden Mile, uShaka Marine World and the Indian Ocean as the events backdrop.
