Phylis Vesta Boison, 19, has been crowned winner of Miss Malaika 2019 beauty pageant. She beat competition from nine other contests to be crowd winner of Miss Malaika which was held at the National Theater.
Phylis Vesta Boison is a third-year accounting student at the University of Ghana. Mbord Astanga, 23, came in as the first runner up and Habiba Bint-Abdallah came in as the second runner up.
Each delegate answered certain humanitarian questions and why they should be crowned Miss Malaika 2019.
The first award of the night went to Fynnba as she was announced winner of the talent hunt. She was one of 3 delegates who were shortlisted to compete for this award.
Mbord was also voted by the delegates as Miss Congeniality. This award was given to the delegate who was fun to be with.
The delegates were later cut down to the final 5 which consisted of Mbord, Phylis, Alma, Habiba and Kimberline, prior to the announcement of the winner and runners up.
